Blessed Tears (Those Who Mourn)

From Movement 4: Walking by Faith Journey By Faith Exhibition by ChanMi Jung Pyles

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4

Jesus does not ask us to hide our sorrow or rush past our grief. He names those who mourn as blessed—not because mourning itself is easy, but because those who weep are not forgotten. God draws near to the brokenhearted and meets us with His comfort.

Blessed Tears (Those Who Mourn) reflects the sacredness of bringing our sorrow honestly before God. Tears can become a prayer when words are difficult to find. In walking by faith, we learn that even in grief, we are held—and that God's comfort can meet us in the places where our hearts are most tender.

Scripture: Matthew 5:4
