The Unseen, Unceasing, Faithful, currently on view in NYC, 2025-2026
The Unseen, Unceasing, Faithful is a series of abstract paintings built through many quiet layers—some visible, many hidden. Each piece is rooted in Scripture, capturing the steady, often unseen movements of God’s love as He renews, acts, fights, weaves, and completes His work in our lives.

Fear Not, I Am With You Always Installation
Fear Not, I Am With You Always is a large-scale hospital art commission created for Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, New York. This triptych—three 30" × 50" abstract paintings—was thoughtfully designed for permanent installation in the hospital’s main waiting room. Rooted in Psalm 46:1, the work offers a visual expression of hope, presence, and quiet reassurance, inviting viewers to find rest and courage amid uncertainty.

The Glorious Light, 2024-2026
The Glorious Light is an abstract series created in conjunction with a Christmas concert, reflecting the moment divine light entered a world long marked by darkness and waiting. Deep, shadowed grounds give way to vibrant color and genuine gold leaf, symbolizing Christ as the Light of the World—present, radiant, and life-giving. The collection invites viewers to contemplate hope, peace, and the quiet yet powerful transformation that light brings, accompanied by an original poem bearing the same title.

What A Friend Exhibition, 2024-2025
What A Friend" is a vibrant abstract series presented at The Well Church in NYC, inspired by the enduring and faithful friendship of Jesus. Each painting expresses a different aspect of His unwavering companionship—His steadfast love, forgiveness, presence in life’s journey, and invitation to rest—through layered texture, dynamic movement, and rich color. Using acrylic and gold leaf, the work celebrates the joy, renewal, and hope found in Christ’s friendship that transcends all earthly relationships, inviting viewers into deeper reflection and refreshment.

Fertile Ground Published, 2024
Fertile Ground is an original acrylic and gold‑leaf painting featured in Truly magazine’s Depth issue, created to visually interpret the biblical parable of the soils from Luke 8. The work embodies the idea of receptive, willing soil—ready to listen, take root, and bear abundant fruit—using warm tones and luminous gold to suggest how the Word enriches and transforms the heart. Its publication highlights the piece’s theme of spiritual responsiveness and growth, offering viewers a visual meditation on listening, openness, and flourishing.

Album Artwork Partnership with The Well NYC & Thistles, 2024
ChanMi partnered with The Well Church NYC and Thistles for their meditation instrumental album, Epiphany, Frequencies of Healing. Her original painting, "Made New In The Light"—which was previously exhibited at The Well Church from 2022 to 2023—was selected as the featured artwork for the project. The album, which included tracks such as "Come" and "There Is No Shame," provided a unique opportunity to use abstract art as a visual companion to musical meditation. This collaboration marked a meaningful new way to share her work across major global platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, to reach hearts through a creative intersection of art and sound.

New Beginnings Solo Art Show,
Bryn Mawr, PA, 2023-2024
In a special collaboration with the Nicole Klein Team at eXp, ChanMi presented her inaugural solo exhibition, "New Beginnings," in the heart of Bryn Mawr. This six-month showcase, which opened on October 25, 2023, featured a curated selection of her work in a stunning new community space. The exhibition offered the local community a unique opportunity to engage with her art in an environment focused on renewal and fresh starts.

Take Heart Exhibition, NYC, 2023-2024
Using textured layers and genuine gold leaf, 'Take Heart' captures the profound beauty that arises when our personal struggles encounter God's boundless grace. This series moves away from traditional brushwork to symbolize the rugged nature of our spiritual journeys, offering a vibrant invitation to draw strength from His restorative love. It is a collection designed to inspire courage, urging us to be still and trust in the rescue and hope that only He provides.

Journey to Heaven Solo Virtual Show with U1 Gallery based in Tokyo and Seoul, 2023
"Journey to Heaven" featured 30 abstract works in a virtual solo show hosted by U1 Gallery, based in Tokyo and Seoul. This exhibition highlighted the artist’s conviction that art is a powerful, universal language capable of expressing hope and freedom across all cultures. Each piece in the collection was created with the intention of becoming a lifelong companion for the viewer—a vessel for stories yet to be written and a source of enduring strength. The show opened globally on July 10th, 2023, marking a significant milestone in ChanMi’s international art journey.

Exhibition at Brightview Devon, 2023
ChanMi had the privilege of exhibiting a selection of her abstract acrylic paintings at Brightview Devon for several months. The showcase featured works prominently incorporating genuine gold leaf, including the companion pieces "Salt and Light I & II" (8"×8"), as well as larger-scale paintings "Faithful To The End" (30"×30") and "All Things Work Together For Good" (30"×30"). This exhibition provided a wonderful opportunity to share her art with the local community, offering moments of visual reflection and beauty within the Brightview space.

Ambientarti Exhibition, Milan, Italy, 2023
ChanMi’s mixed-media painting, "Living Water," was featured in the fourth edition of the Ambientarti exhibition at Hub/Art in Milan. Curated by Art Space Milano, this international showcase brought together diverse voices to explore the intersection of art and environment. Through its vibrant movement and layered textures, "Living Water" served as a visual meditation on spiritual purification and refreshment, inviting the local community in Milan to encounter a sense of long-lasting joy and hope.

Deeper Beauty Published with Truly, 2023
Featured in collaboration with Truly Magazine, "Deeper Beauty" is a mixed-media exploration of the profound grace found in aging. While the world often promotes a filtered, blemish-free aesthetic, this oval canvas piece celebrates the beauty formed through layers of life's unpredictable seasons. Each textured layer represents a weathered storm or a hard-won lesson, resulting in a work that reflects a deeper, more resilient beauty rooted in the love of God.

Moment Group Show with U1 Gallery, 2023
ChanMi was honored to be one of fourteen international artists selected for “Moment,” a virtual group exhibition hosted by Tokyo-based U1 Gallery. Running from March 11 through March 20, 2023, the global showcase featured five of her original works, including "Gate of Heaven" and "Let The Light Lead You." This special collaboration allowed viewers from around the world to “visit” the gallery digitally and explore her signature use of gold leaf and acrylics in a virtual space designed to connect diverse artistic voices.

Rivers of Living Water Published with Velvet Ashes, 2023
In a meaningful collaboration with Velvet Ashes ministry, ChanMi created "Rivers of Living Water" as the featured artwork for their 2023 global online retreat. This 8"x10" mixed-media fluid painting was designed to interpret the retreat's theme, "River of God's Love," for thousands of women serving as missionaries overseas. Using flowing movements, gold mica powder, and transparent glitters to symbolize the Holy Spirit, the piece serves as a visual meditation on the abundant, life-giving, and restoring nature of God’s love that flows unceasingly toward us.

Salt and Light Featured at the Well NYC, 2023
In 2023, ChanMi was featured as the Artist Spotlight at The Well NYC, where she shared her spoken word poem and abstract art series, "Salt and Light." Drawing from Matthew 5:13-20, the project encouraged believers to shine the light of Christ and offer the "salt" of His grace in every sphere of life. The accompanying artwork used vibrant layers and signature gold leaf to symbolize how even the smallest faithful offerings could point to God’s glory. Through this creative intersection of poetry and painting, ChanMi invited viewers to be a source of hope and restoration in a light-deficient world.

RESTART Exhibition, Milan, Italy, 2023
In early 2023, ChanMi’s acrylic painting, "A Shout of Joy" (24"×30"), was exhibited at Hub/Art in Milan as part of the "RESTART" exhibition hosted by Art Space Milano. The work served as a visual invitation to embrace each day as a unique opportunity for a fresh start, regardless of past seasons. Drawing inspiration from Psalm 30:5, the painting’s colorful and energetic movements captured the "shout of joy" that arrives with the morning. Through this expressive abstract piece, the artist encouraged viewers to re-anchor their hearts to new mercies and celebrate the steadfast love that accompanies them daily.

“Do This In Remembrance of Me” — Featured in Truly Magazine, 2022
In Fall 2022, my mixed-media painting “Do This In Remembrance of Me” was published in the CREATE issue of Truly Magazine. Created in response to a devotional piece about using our gifts to build God’s Kingdom, the work visualizes the diverse spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit coming together in unity and beauty. Through its layered patterns and scriptural reference, the piece celebrates how remembering Christ calls us to steward our giftings in community and faith.

AQUARS II Exhibition, Milan, Italy, 2022
ChanMi’s award-winning mixed-media fluid art piece, "The Living Water" (16" diameter), was exhibited at the Museo d’Arte e Scienza in Milan as part of the AQUARS II exhibition. Hosted by Art Space Milano and curated by Eva Amos, the event featured over 40 international artists and opened with a vibrant ceremony including live opera performances. The artwork, which received a winner's diploma in a special category, was described in the official catalogue as a visual meditation on "Living Water" that purifies, refreshes, and vivifies the soul. Through its active movement and deeply satisfying composition, the piece explored the long-lasting joy, hope, and purpose found through faith.

In The Light Exhibition at the Well NYC, 2022
In The Light was a contemplative abstract exhibition shown at The Well at Scandinavia House in New York City in 2022. Rooted in biblical imagery of Light as life-giving, renewing, and ever-present, the collection invited viewers to pause and reflect on faith, hope, and spiritual renewal.
Through vibrant color, layered textures, and radiant gold leaf, the paintings explored diverse journeys of faith and the transforming presence of Light, offering quiet visual meditations on promise, joy, and restoration.

Rest, Remember, and Rejoice Published 2022
In 2022, ChanMi collaborated with Truly Magazine for their spring issue, "Home," providing original abstract artwork to accompany the article "A Feast to Remember." The series, consisting of three pieces titled "Rest," "Remember," and "Rejoice," was created to interpret the biblical Feast of Tabernacles. Through these paintings, the artist encouraged viewers to rest in God's sufficient grace, remember His presence in every valley, and rejoice in His redemption. This publication highlighted the meaningful intersection of gospel-centered encouragement and intentional abstract design.
