Death Could Not Hold Him

From Movement 6: Remaining & Journeying by Faith Journey By Faith Exhibition by ChanMi Jung Pyles

The angel's message at the empty tomb is simple and astonishing: Jesus is not here. He has risen. What appeared to be defeat could not contain the life and power of Christ.

Death Could Not Hold Him reflects the victory at the heart of Christian faith. The resurrection declares that death is not the end and that the power of God reaches beyond what appears final. Because Christ lives, hope remains—even in the places where we cannot yet see what is coming.

Scripture: Matthew 28:5–6
