For much of my life, I often believed I needed to become more, do more, or strive harder in order to be fully accepted.
Yet God has been gently teaching me a different truth.
 
His delight is not earned.
 
It is freely given.
 
Before we accomplish.
Before we prove ourselves.
Before we become anything.
 
We are loved.
 
This painting emerged from that beautiful realization—that God's delight is not reserved for a future version of ourselves, but rests upon us even now.
 
May this piece remind you that you are deeply cherished by the One who created you.
