Dwell and Rest

From Movement 2: Praying by Faith
Journey By Faith Exhibition by ChanMi Jung Pyles

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” — Psalm 91:1

To dwell is to remain. To rest is to trust that we do not have to carry everything ourselves.

Psalm 91 begins with an invitation to make God our dwelling place—to remain close to Him and find shelter beneath His care. Dwell and Rest reflects the quiet posture of a soul learning to stop striving and simply abide in the presence of God.

In prayer, we do not always need more words. Sometimes we are invited simply to remain, to breathe, and to rest in the One who holds us.

Scripture: Psalm 91:1
