For a long time, I thought freedom meant having everything under control.
 
But over the years, God has been teaching me a different kind of freedom—not the freedom of self-sufficiency, but the freedom of being fully seen, fully known, and deeply loved.
 
A freedom that loosens fear's grip.

A freedom that softens striving into abiding.

A freedom that allows us to breathe deeply, rest fully, and simply be.
 
This painting emerged from that place.
 
Its circular form reminds me of a love without beginning or end—a spacious, generous love that welcomes us as beloved children rather than weary performers.
 
May we no longer live bound by fear, perfectionism, or the need to prove ourselves.
 
Instead, may we live in the heaven-breathed freedom Christ has given us.
