They Stayed

From Movement 6: Remaining & Journeying by Faith Journey By Faith Exhibition by ChanMi Jung Pyles

While many had left, the women remained near the cross and watched where Jesus was laid. Their presence was quiet, faithful, and courageous in a moment of profound grief.

They Stayed honors the faithfulness of simply remaining. Sometimes faith does not look like action or certainty. Sometimes it looks like staying near, bearing witness, and refusing to walk away when the story seems to have ended.

Scripture: Matthew 27:55–61
