So it probably comes as no surprise in this modern age that researchers suggest we tend to check our phones approximately once every ten minutes, totaling about 96 times a day. What we choose to focus on each day significantly influences the state of our hearts.
The Bible emphasizes the importance of directing our thoughts toward heavenly values:
"Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." - Colossians 3:2
Furthermore, as stated in Philippians 4:8: "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."
