Each morning and night, I feel the Lord's invitation to go deeper with Him. As I rise to get my baby out of his crib, I feel His steadfast presence. As I make morning coffee and breakfast and read books to my kiddos, I feel His gentle steadfast love. As I fold the piles of laundry and take daily walks with one child in the stroller and another walking next to me, I feel His steadfast presence. As I lay my tired feet on the bed at the end of the day, I hear His steadfast love song. And these are possible, if only I shut out the noises of the world and tune into His gentle, loving voice.
Everyday is an invitation to go deeper with Him. Everyday is an opportunity to be touched by His steadfast love. There are too many distracting noises and discouraging voices around us. Let us be intentional about hearing His steadfast loving voice today.
